*Randomosity*--Ghetto Pickles!
Er'body has had it before, but in a pickle? Sounds interesting...But Kool-Aid Pickles has become somewhat of a southern delicacy.
Kool-Aid Pickles Recipe :D
What You Need:
* 1 (46-ounce) jar whole dill pickles
* 1 cup sugar
* 2 cups water
* 2 packets Kool-Aid (Cherry flavor is popular)
So You Need Some Direction...:
1. Drain and discard the juice from the pickle jar. Take pickles out of the jar and cut each one in half lengthwise. Put it back in the jar.
2. In a large measuring cup, combine the sugar, water and Kool-Aid. Mix until the sugar has completely dissolved. Pour enough of the liquid into the pickle jar to cover the pickles. Drank the rest [or pour it out].
3. Cover the jar and refrigerate at least 24 hours.
*Makes one 46-ounce jar of pickles.
